Work with me

Space for the Butterflies - an eclectic handmade life

Space for the Butterflies is a blog about the things that make me happy. It’s a story of motherhood, with knitting, quilting, baking, exploring, and the things that make me think all woven in; my children’s baby book and my tale of learning to be their mother.

Kitty was born in 2010, Elma in 2012, and Pip in 2014 so we’re still very much in the early years.  We live in Warwickshire which has the advantage of being pretty much near everywhere and we’re always interested in an adventure.

Working together:

As well as being a blogger, photographer, Instagram addict, knitter, sewer, quilter, mother of three and a wife, I am a writer, and I could be writing for you.

I offer copywriting, feature writing and guest blogging, whether in my own name or as a brand and we love working with brands that fit with our family ethos and will be of interest to the people who read my little corner of the internet.

The five of us love being outdoors, even if it’s only the garden, being creative, and being colourful.  We try to be as environmentally friendly as we can be and I suspect we head towards the hippy-crunchier end of the parenting scale.  I love to make things, especially if it’s cake, and I have a serious weakness for brightly coloured clothes on my children.

Space for the Butterflies - a Me and Mine for Halloween

To date my advertorial and sponsored posts have covered baby clothes, personalised children’s books, baby food, holidays, cake making and decorating (I really loved that one), Elma’s beloved Toddlebike and an Instagram printing service to name but a few.

Space for the Butterflies has been featured in Making Magazine, was a MADs Finalist in 2015 for Best Baby Blog and again in 2016 for Best Craft Blog, and my posts have appeared on the Tot’s 100 Fresh Five, and on Mumsnet’s Front Page. More detailed stats are available on request.

A lovely post, really honest. People don’t tell you about this… when I had my first little one, I had packed ‘regular’ jeans. By that, I mean jeans that were a bit baggy pre-pregnancy. I just thought I would fit in them after giving birth. Ha ha ha, I had no idea! Came home in PJs. #SharewithMe

Oh that must have been a bit of a shock to the system – but PJ’s are definitely the way to go for the first few days!!

I am Sushma Brelle and I work for a Swiss company called StickerKid. We produce customized name labels for children to mark their belongings and clothes. Withstanding dishwasher, washing machine and dryer, they are perfect for the everyday life with kids. Nothing will get lost or mixed up anymore! We also make fun and colorful door stickers.

While browsing online I found your blog and I loved it! It’s not only well written but seems incredibly valuable for moms!

Would you be interested in trying out our products? They are made in Switzerland and we guarantee quality and durability and we ship them all over the world. Here is a link to our website so you can have a look for yourself

I would be happy to create you a personal package for free so you have a chance to try our labels and also give your readers a 10 % reduction. Would this be interesting for you?

I am looking forward to hearing back from you!

    Best regards from Switzerland
