You look beautiful and it sounds like a wonderful day and evening. It’s amazing to be a finalist and that is an achievement in itself. X #theordinarymoments

You look beautiful! The awards looked like such a fun night! I’d love to go one day, just as a guest, to meet everyone.

Well done, getting to the finals was such an amazing achievement and you look beautiful and relaxed in that photo! x

Oh, Carie! Congratulations!! How exciting!! (I’ve almost fallen asleep getting my teeth cleaned; falling asleep having your makeup applied sounds far more glamorous) They did a fantastic job of keeping you YOU (every time my sister did my hair and makeup growing up, I looked like her. That wasn’t bad, of course, because she was (is) gorgeous, but it contributed to the feeling that *I* wasn’t. Anyways – they did good 🙂 and you looked beautiful and happy, like you always look – just a little more polished .
(and how cool that you met someone who lives so close to you!)

You looked beautiful Carie and I am sad we didn’t get to chat for longer, as is always the way with these things isn’t it? It was a great evening with delicious food and you were in such a tough category. But like you say, just to even being there is really a rather incredible thing isn’t it? And how lovely to have a night off and a bit of a pamper. xx

Seems like we share the same idea about hair styling at the moment ♥

I think anyone that is nominated as a finalist for a MADS is definitely a winner in my eyes! Sounds like you had an amazing night! Popping over from #TheOrdinaryMoments

Oh Carie, I would have loved you to win. Your blog always stands out for me because of the stories you weave around your craft projects. Even if it’s not something I can do myself (I will never be able to master crochet), I still want to read your posts because I love hearing about who the item is for or seeing which buttons you’ve chosen. I think that’s a real talent x

Did you just quote Cool Runnings? ; ) That is a very good quote, one definitely worth keeping in mind for a lot of things in life.

You look really lovely in your photos from the night. I’m glad you had a great time, win or no win.

Getting to spend an evening with you made the MADs for me, and you looked so wonderful. Let’s not leave it so long next time!
