Linking up with Jodi with a portrait of each of my children once every week for 2016.
Kitty: I started humming a little ditty this morning as we watched the rain try desperately to turn itself into snow (and fail), and you wanted to know where the song came from, so I fired up You Tube and this was your expression as you watched Gene Kelly singing in the rain for the very first time. One day, when you’re older we’ll watch the whole film together but for now I’ll enjoy watching you dance under your imaginary thundercloud.

Elma: This is easily my favourite photo of the week, and possibly my favourite of all your portraits this year. It’s not just that I remember making that dress for your sister’s third birthday and can’t quite believe that it already fits you, but the pose, and your determination to wear your “glass slippers” (one of Kitty’s and one of mine) combine in a sweetness that is pure Elma.

Pip: Yes little boy, I see you. Not content with being the fastest little boy on two legs, now you’re upping the ante and trying out some wheels for size, and it seems that the Toddlebike has found itself another fan!
