A portrait of each of my children once every week for 2015.

Kitty: Sitting quietly on the sofa playing with your new sticker book you looked so serene, but as soon as you spotted the camera you produced this fabulously cheesy grin and launched towards me and I love it; there’s a mixture of pure mischief and glee in your eyes!

Elma: This week has been all about your new haircut.  You were so proud to go on a special trip with Daddy and when you came back you told me “the man cut my hair Mama!”.  I think you look even cuter with your new bob and fringe, and while your hair is always going to look a bit flyaway until it grows in a bit better but at least now you can see where you’re going.  We went to feed the ducks that afternoon and I loved it, your big sister likes the idea of feeding the ducks but only from a distance, whereas you were right up there, with pigeons hopping around our toes throwing bread into the pond as hard as you could.

Pip:  The best knitwear model ever. One day after you turned 6 months you started to roll and now we’re working on sitting up.  I know you’ll get it soon and it’s so sweet watching you be wobbly and proving yourself up on your hands.

This is not related to the photos which are adorable too, but I just have to say your children have the best names!!!! #project 52

They do have lovely names – but they aren’t actually called Kitty Elma and Pip – they have internet pseudonyms to try to prevent their future classmates googling their baby pictures!

Great shots! I love how you captured their spontaneous expressions – my favourite kind of portraits.
(And I love Pip’s hat and mittens, too!)

Kitty and my Little Miss would be the BEST of friends!!!! You have no idea… Soul-mates from across the pond. Last weeks’ picture is hard to beat, but this just did it.

Your children are just so lovely… Love Pip’s mittens. 🙂

Lovely photos as always, though Kitty’s expression does remind me a bit of the look Theo gets if ever he manages to eat M & Ms, happily he doesn’t manage it often, as what is cute and endearing for a 4 year old doesn’t translate so well to teenage boy!

Oh Kitty has a “too much sugar” look too – it’s always funny to see!
