Can’t beat a quilt fort! And I really love the look of that quilt – those Christmas/Winter colours for starters. Did you post about it in the dim and distant past with more pictures? Can you send me back that way with a link?

I see you! Great fort! We love a good fort here for sure. That quilt is gorgeous, did you make it?

    Have a wonderful week-end xo

Thank you, and yes I did – it’s my Christmas quilt, the prints are all snowmen and christmas trees and more snow!

Ah, imagination…the places it can take you, particularly when you’re very young. I’m relatively “new” to the blogging world (at least in terms of my last couple posts!) and am visiting from SouleMama today. Check out my moment from the week, if you like!

it’s one of the loveliest bits about having children, seeing where their imagination can take you 🙂

The very best use of a quilt, in my opinion!

I just adore this picture! The colors, the quilt, the little foot sticking out! Just lovely!

Our moment this week comes from a day full of the girls putting on puppet shows!

    Have a lovely weekend! xo

thank you – it’s my one and only (so far) Christmas quilt, and it’s also one of the biggest quilts I’ve ever made so it works well for dens!

Oh I love a den! Such a lovely moment to capture x

    • Carie 10/01/2015 at 8:06 am

Thank you – it worked quite well as a stand in space ship – especially with the Batman torch to light their way!

Oh my gosh, this is the best. I remember doing the same thing as a kid. I hope you have lots of clothespins and old sheets handy, cause those forts are only going to get bigger and more intricate. Happy building!

    • Carie 12/01/2015 at 9:08 pm

Well we do have a lot of quilts – and there’s only one or two that I really don’t want to see being used for forts, the rest I’d rather were loved and used than just stacked up in a pile!

Building dens = best thing ever! 🙂 x

    • Carie 13/01/2015 at 11:03 pm

It’s no ordinary den either – that’s a space ship!
