By our special correspondent:
They’d gone. Definitely gone. One minute we were all playing that chasey sort of game Kitty calls “tick” and the next I saw was mine Mummee’s back heading off into the distance with Kitty pulling at her arm like a runaway racehorsey. I didn’t know where they were going, but they were definitely gone.
But mine Dadda was still here, so I sat on him to make sure he stayed still, and then I picked up Mummee’s phone. Whenever I pick it up normally she appears like magic and says “thank you sweetie, that’s Mama’s” and it disappears again, so I knew if anything could make her appear again that would. Apparently it’s something to do with my once calling Grandpa at 3 o’clock in the morning, but I don’t really know what that means. I like Grandpa, I wave at him when he phones Mummee; Mummee says he can’t see me but I know he can really.
Dadda took the phone from me, and at first I wanted to be cross because it was supposed to make Mummee appear, but then I saw them.
So I walked and I walked and I walked and there was still more grass and more walking,
But then there was Mine Mummee, and in her hand she had ICECREAMS!
“Mine Mummee, mine?!”
I like ice creams, but only if mine looks just like everyone else’s. I don’t like it when mine looks different, so I tell them if it’s different; they might not have noticed.
Why are you running away Big Seesta? The ice creams are here!
