Linking up with Jodi with a portrait of each of my children once every week for 2015.
Kitty: my little butterfly moth; you glittered and you glimmered and you loved it. We hadn’t planned on getting you a new dressing up outfit for Halloween but this is probably my favourite of all the outfits you’ve worn save for the star one I made when you were one. You wore it all day, all evening and probably would have gone for all night too. Just don’t grow too fast and then you’ll have it for next year too!

Elma: when Kitty was at nursery and you were still the baby she came home singing the batman theme, and you picked up the “na na na na na na na na” and ran with it. You have never seen batman on screen, and only the Lego one as a toy but for some reason you just really like him. The Lego him anyway, and so when we saw this dress there was no question but that it should go straight into our dressing up box. You were bursting with excitement by the time the calendar finally flipped over to 31st and while the mask didn’t last much beyond mid morning, you spent the rest of the day happily twirling in your cape.

Pip: Peepo Olaf! The only costume in the box that was the right size for you and wasn’t a dress. And you did look adorable, even if it didn’t last that long. It turns out that what a snowman does in Autumn is get very very damp and muddy in the puddles, but has a lot of fun in the process.
