Linking up with Jodi with a portrait of each of my children once every week for 2015.
Kitty: It’s so lovely to see your happy smiley face when I get home from work. I know you miss me, and you’re not quite sure why things have changed but you’re trying so hard to roll with it and I’m so proud of you. It breaks my heart to leave you sobbing in the mornings but I know that you’ll be fine a few minutes later because I’ve been on the other side of the door when the sobs were for your Daddy. We both love you to the moon and the stars and back.

Elma: Fake asleep in the garden as part of some sort of picnic/ballet/school/going on an adventure game that you and Kitty were playing. I’m never quite worked out the plot but I know it involved you eating your lunch on the picnic rug and then having a ‘nap’ with blankie and using poor Doudou as a pillow (he is a very good pillow though I grant you!). You’re the very picture of sweetness and cuteness.

Pip: Watching the world go by from the swing. I think you were trying to figure out what the girls were up to, and it did look like fun. I’m hoping this is the last photo with your poor spots in, they’re clearing up fast and I hope none of you get a virus like that again. You never seemed bothered by them but I wanted to rub them away by magic and see you all better again in an instant. This week your biggest change has evaded any photographs. I was utterly convinced you finally had a corner of a tooth come through last week, just in time for your thirteenth month birthday but your Daddy wasn’t so sure and I began to doubt myself. But doubt no more, it was and is a tooth, very definitely through now at long last. You are going to love having teeth when it comes to supper, just don’t bite Mama ok?
