Linking up with Jodi with a portrait of each of my children once every week for 2015.

Kitty: A rather thoughtful picture of you this week, captured in a rare quiet moment.  I love it when I catch you thinking, you show all your emotions in your face so I can watch the cogs whirring and wonder what connections you’re making and what schemes you’re coming up with.

Elma: Daddy’s little shadow.  You want to be where he is, and do what he does, and if that means that we prop his table easel up on a stool so you both can paint together then that’s what we’re going to do.  I can see you and your Daddy spending many happy hours painting while Kitty is at school and Pip takes a nap.  You don’t paint pictures right now, you paint purely to enjoy the colours and the sensation of laying it down on the canvas and you’re rightly very proud of your masterpieces.

Pip: And to round off this week’s series, we have ‘The Thinker’, as modelled by Pip Squeak.  I think you were trying to work out how to get my sandwich off me without my noticing and it was followed by a beaming smile and a cuddle – and a bite of my sarnie.
