If Kitty is about to be the next photographer in the family, her brother is unlikely to be too far behind. Master Pip is very interested in my camera. As in wants to love it hug it and claim it for his own. And for some reason, perhaps a lack of other shiny things in the vicinity, his fascination becomes most apparent when we’re in the garden.
If I put the camera down he’ll crawl over and pat it and prod it and try to pick it up, and if I’m taking pictures he’ll scuttle across, both to sit back in my lap and to try to eat the lens cap.
The camera itself is fairly sturdy and has survived many a small fingered enslaught and being chased around the garden by my tiny son does mean that I have a whole collection of pictures of the many and various aspects of Pip in the garden:
I am utterly thrilled and over the moon excited to be a finalist in Baby category of the 2015 MADs Awards. To have made it to the final six in the blogging equivalent of the Oscars is a dream come true. But truth be told, I would really love to win!
